The NuMe Mini Flat Iron
Jan 20th 2012, 08:47

If you travel a lot, or just need a small, portable flat iron for those quick touch-ups, then you may want to check out the NuMe Mini.

It has the ceramic technology you want in a tiny size, and it heats up very quickly, which are pluses. It heats to over 400 degrees, but you can't adjust the temperature on this little iron, so that was a downer for me.

Pros:

  • Small enough to toss into a purse
  • Extremely lightweight
  • Versatile enough to straighten, flip or curl hair

Cons

  • Too small to be effective on very thick hair
  • Non-adjustable temperature

This is a great iron to tote along, but it'll work better on shorter, already-straightened hair. If you need to bump your bangs or give your bob a little flip on the ends, the NuMe mini is perfect for that. If you're in the market for something a little heavier and adjustable, you can find other options at the NuMe site.
